No Time To Think

I've had a lot on my mind lately and feel like blogging about it.  But the truth is, I am to exhausted to blog right now.  This week has been busier than ever and I haven't had time to do anything but keep my head above water.  So I will have some nice deep thoughts for you when I have a moment to spare.  In the meantime, have a lovely weekend!  (Yes that means I will not have a minute to spare until Monday).

I bought this album on itunes about a month ago.  WINNER!   I love his crooning voice.  There wasn't one song I didn't like.  (He's the guy that sang "So Close" at the ball in Disney's Enchanted).  You can find him on itunes.

One dozen cookies to the person who leaves me the funniest comment.  That's right, I want to laugh - hard.   My family and I will review the comments on Monday and decide who made us laugh the hardest.  That person will get one dozen, fresh baked, homemade decorated cookies.

I thought the day would never come!

After 14 years I am finally replacing my dinnerware.  (I only had 3 bowls that weren't broken from my old set).  I have been hitting the sale table at Macy's and have already acquired 10 bowls and 10 salad plates like the ones below- only in blue - and now I only have the dinner plates left to purchase.
Saturday I have a 30 % off coupon for every item purchased at Macy's and I am going for 10 of the fern  dinner plates below to finish off the set.  Who knows, I may even go crazy and buy some new silverware while I am at it.  (I only have 3 small spoons left from that set as well).
Hey, baking all these cookies and cakes is finally paying off.  (I can't wait until Saturday!!!!!)

There are 5 birthdays in September in our family.  So we gave them one big September birthday party.  The cake (I forgot to take a close up so click on it for a closer look) had the birthday boys names on it.  I thought it was cute - I mean, a good cake for boys.
